Urban Land Institute (ULI) St. Louis to Host 2020 Regional ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Summit in St. Louis

Coming off the first-ever Urban Land Institute (ULI) Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Regional Summit in Louisville, Ky., ULI St. Louis is announcing it will host the 2020 WLI conference in St. Louis on August 5-7, 2020. The WLI Regional Summit was launched this year to explore the topic of equity in land use and leadership.
“We are excited to be bringing this dynamic conference to St. Louis,” said Bonnie Roy, partner at SWT Design and ULI St. Louis WLI Co-Chair. “Building equitable communities was a big part of discussions at this year’s national conference and we hope to showcase ULI St. Louis’ Equitable Communities Initiative launched to address significant issues detailed in the Ferguson Commission Report.”

The conference featured a mayor’s forum with leadership from Louisville, Lexington, Ky. and Gary, Ind. exploring the topic of equity in the public realm and in development underway in their respective cities.
With more than 240 members, ULI St. Louis unites thought leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. Its members include real estate, design, construction, institutional, legal and accounting professionals along with civic leadership.
