TeamFour Acquired by MBE Etegra

From St. Louis CNR: In sort of a mouse swallows elephant story, a decades old architectural firm, TeamFour Architects, founded in the early ’60s, was acquired by a young MBE firm, Etegra, founded in 2010. Etegra secured DBE/MBE certification in Missouri in 2011.

A statement from Etegra said, “The addition of TeamFour’s professional skills and experience in architectural design for federal and state governments, institutions and nonprofit organizations will augment Etegra’s skills and role in managing project development and construction. It will add architecture to Etegra’s services to our clients, enabling the firm to be directly involved and engaged in the design of the built environment.”
Etegra and TeamFour both specialized in federal work.
Etegra president and CEO, Andrew Kishna told CNR that the problem a new company faces is securing work, because “how can you prove you can do a job if you’ve never done it?” The acquisition of TeamFour solves that problem “and opens up a lot of doors for us,” he said.
