Sunshine Pediatric Day Center recently held a groundbreaking on its new Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPECC) facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Oculus Inc., a full-service architecture and interior design firm based in St. Louis, was selected to provide architectural design services for a new ground up prototype. Frank Dale Construction is serving as the Design-Builder for the 7,500 SF facility and is partnering with Sunshine Pediatric Day Center on their rollout of facilities across Texas. “There are thousands of special needs children who don’t have access to clinical care, therapy services, and enriching educational activities,” said David Maymon, founder and CEO of Sunshine Pediatric Day Center. “By opening this second Texas location in the Fort Worth area, we can offer all these services in one place. We are beyond thankful to Oculus Inc. and Frank Dale Construction for bringing this new prototype of care to the forefront of individualized patient care.”
FDC, Oculus and the rest of the design-build team worked with the client during the design and preconstruction phase to balance their needs, wants and budget, delivering a solution that met their expectations.
