South County Mixed-Use Center, Once in Default, Sells for $10.3M

From St. Louis Business Journal:  Sunset Place, a collection of office and retail space in Sunset Hills, has sold for $10.3 million.

St. Louis-based commercial real estate brokerage and development firm Balke Brown Transwestern acquired Sunset Place for $10.3 million at auction. Colliers’ Joe Hill and Erin Torney represented the seller, LNR Partners LLC, a special servicer who was brought on in 2016 after the property fell into default.

The property consists of 88,737 square feet of office and retail spread across 7 acres in south St. Louis county. Its biggest tenants are Mississippi Lime Co., Swink Fiehlher & Co. PC, Breckenridge Insurance Services, Enterprise Financial Group and Stifel Nicolaus & Co, according to a loan servicer report from Trepp.
