Scott Plocher Elected SIBA President

Effective January 1, 2025, Scott Plocher, Plocher Construction Company, Inc., will become President of the Southern Illinois Builders Association.

Other officers for 2025 are: First Vice President – Richard Boyer, Boyer Fire Protection, St. Louis, Missouri; Second Vice President – Matt Fricke, Warning Lites of Southern Illinois, E. St. Louis, Illinois; and Secretary/Treasurer – Dave Murray, Samron Midwest Contracting, Inc., Murphysboro, Illinois.

Three-year Directors elected were: Jon Carroll, Poettker Construction Company, Breese, Illinois; Lyle Simonton, Subsurface Constructors, Inc., St. Louis, Missouri; and Scott Crean, Fabick Cat, Fenton, Missouri.

The Southern Illinois Builders Association is a trade association of contractors
representing approximately 500 commercial and industrial building, highway and utility construction contractors throughout Southern Illinois.
