MSD Contracts Kwame Building Group for Third-Party Monitoring Services

The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD) has contracted with Kwame Building Group, Inc. (KWAME) to provide third-party consultant monitoring services through June 2016.

KWAME will track and report compliance with MSD’s Community Benefits Agreement (CBA), a formal agreement between MSD and community organizations to increase job training, education, internships, workforce diversity, and opportunities for minority-owned and women-owned businesses. MSD has established minority workforce goals of 30 percent and woman workforce goals of seven percent on construction contracts of $500,000 or more.
