From West Newsmagazine:  On Monday, Feb. 10, the Town & Country Board of Alderman reviewed a pair of bills that look to improve city infrastructure.

The first, the municipal center carport rehabilitation project, will cost $77,296 and will repair 27 rusted posts that support the police department’s covered parking. The current posts compromise the integrity of the structure, which covers up to eight police vehicles and supports solar panels. The new posts will be lifted off the ground to avoid deterioration from the elements in the future.

A second bill reviewed by the board would authorize two professional service agreements with Navigate Building Solutions for design, pre-construction management and consultant services for the public works building project and the municipal center and firehouse renovation project.

The agreement with Navigate will cost $58,223.
