Here’s Your SIGN!

For years comic Bill Engvald has been telling a series of “here’s your sign” stories about people doing stupid things. If you or someone at your company is looking for examples to show your team of what notto do on the jobsite safety-wise, look no further than the My Safety Sign blog. The blog is produced by the Brooklyn, NY-based company My Safety Sign, whose main business is — you guessed it — jobsite signs.

The site invites postings of OSHA violations and the volunteer posters have recorded some doozies, like the workers passing tools on a partially-completed scaffold erected over a New York sidewalk. Probably the champion is a photo, supposedly taken in China, of a large forklift lifting a smaller lift into the air, with workers standing on it.
