Gateway Studios Opens Doors in Chesterfield Valley

From West Newsmagazine: Gateway Studios & Production Services has officially opened its studio complex in Chesterfield.
The 32-acre facility at 900 Spirit of Saint Louis Blvd. is designed to meet the demands of the complex touring productions, television and film projects and high-end corporate events.
“We set out to build a space that solves real challenges for artists and crews preparing to take their tour on the road,” Gateway Studios CEO Trey Kerr said in a press release. “Our facility reflects that vision – purpose-built, flexible and ready to meet the demands of any production.”
Since opening, clients and productions have begun using Gateway Studios’ features, which include rehearsal and staging, on-site support services, technical infrastructure and production support.
The campus features three fully-equipped previsualization suites, built to design and refine lighting, video and staging elements before hitting the studio floor. The rehearsal studios include Studio 80, which has 52,500 square feet of rehearsal space, an 80-foot grid height and a 2-million-pound grid weight capacity; Studio 75, featuring 15,000 square feet of rehearsal space, a 75-foot grid height and a 1-million-pound grid weight capacity and Studio Support, with 15,700 square feet of open space with a 48-foot ceiling with rigging points at 42 feet.
