City Approves Webster University Parking Garage

Webster University got something it wanted and something it didn’t want from the Webster Groves City Council on Sept. 3.

The council unanimously approved legislation that allows for a planned eastern expansion of the Webster University parking garage in the 500 block of Garden Avenue.

But as part of that legislation, the council mandated installation, prior to the use of the expansion, of a new 198-foot-long left-turn lane on southbound Edgar Road at Garden, saying the turn lane is warranted even now by the large volume of existing traffic.  Read more.
