What do you do in your profession?

Understanding job cost reporting, job tracking and the review of budgets. I follow the process of creating an estimate Sub-contractor management. I physically visit job sites within the COVID -19 allowances. I work to understand Accounts Receivable reports and the collection of funds as well as understanding the itemized cost of labor and overhead. I also keep track of submitted and returned lien waivers for various jobs through Reconcile Vendor statements in the accounting system.

Project Manger/Estimator for a construction firm

Advice for someone who wants to do the same job or career as you.

Don’t ever give up, always keep your options open. It may seem like a tough path but it is one that you believe in and must keep going.

Start making connections now. In this industry nothing is ever given to you, you earn it!
