What do you do in your profession?

My role is to help guide marketing, sales, business development and preconstruction strategy. This boils down to understanding the markets in which we operate, identifying partners who can benefit from our services and delivering exceptional service.

What are your dream career and dream tasks to work on?

I think I’m living it. I am passionate about St. Louis and seeing my community thrive. I believe that I am helping this area grow in my own way through redevelopment, new construction and sustainability initiatives.

Advice for someone who wants to do the same job or career as you.

I didn’t set out to be in this field or set on a specific career path. My advice would be to try many things, invest in yourself and give yourself a diverse background of experiences. This will make you dangerous/valuable. You don’t necessarily have to have a profession that aligns with your passions (that certainly doesn’t hurt). Just set out to be the best at whatever you do.

If you were to go back and give advice to yourself at age 16, what would it be?

Don’t take it too seriously. The future will be here before you know it so enjoy the ride.
