ASA Scholarship Cigar Event Goes ATOMIC

American Subcontractors Association Midwest Council’s annual smoker to raise money for the Council’s scholarship fund is going ATOMIC this year.
The night networking and fun is set for Jan. 5 at Atomic Cowboy in The Grove. The 6th Annual Smoker benefitting the Tom Owens Memorial Scholarship Fund will be in held in Atomic Cowboy’s cozy new vintage lounge, located on the second floor of the landmark bar and club at 4140 Manchester Ave.
The event will include a lavish hors d’oeuvres spread, live music, and an expert mixologist at the open bar.
As with the previous Owens Foundation event held at Atomic Cowboy in October, this soiree will feature the magnificent Scott Biancardi from STL Cigars (www.stlcigars.com) hand-rolling a number of different blends (and providing a cadre of old standards: such as La Gloria Cubano and Romeo y Julieta).
Attendance is very limited and pre-registrations by past attendees have been brisk. The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.. The cost is $128 per person.
