From St. Louis Business Journal:  Apartments, retail and a hotel will comprise an $80 million development in Chesterfield, Indiana-based Pearl Capital Management LLC and Great Lakes Capital told the Business Journal.

The developers say their project, called WildHorse, will feature 188 one- and two-bedroom apartments, 25,000 square feet of retail space, a 128-room hotel and conference center, and an upscale restaurant at 16511 Wild Horse Creek Road. Chesterfield-based Reinsurance Group of America (NYSE: RGA) also is an investor in the project, officials said.

The multifamily component will feature units ranging in size from 648-1,244 square feet and amenities like underground parking, a swimming pool, fitness center, library and bocce ball court.

“Our philosophy is to create irreplaceable properties in irreplaceable locations, and WildHorse and Chesterfield certainly qualify,” Pearl Capital Management President Jeff Tegethoff said in a statement. “We look for ‘hidden gems’ where we can produce a unique living environment with all of the amenities and advantages that today’s consumers are seeking.”

Brinkmann Constructors, the general contractor, will start work on the project in mid-August. The apartments will be ready for occupancy in early 2021, with the restaurant and hotel to follow.
